How to make animations in scratch

My Scratch Animation Adventure: From Beginner to Blocker!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my experience of learning how to make animations with Scratch. If you’re a kid like me and just starting out, this post is for you!

It all began when I discovered a course on ChhotaCreator.com by this awesome kid named Sahishnu. Sahishnu explained Scratch in a way that was super easy to understand. He showed how cool animations can be made with colorful blocks, kind of like a puzzle!

On top of the course, I also looked up some tutorials online. There are tons of free resources out there to help you get started with Scratch. The more I watched and read, the more excited I got to try things out myself.

So, I went to the Scratch website (https://scratch.mit.edu/) and created my very own account. It’s totally free and super easy to do. Once I was in, it was like stepping into a giant box of creative building blocks!

Here’s the coolest part: You don’t need any fancy coding skills to use Scratch. All you have to do is drag and drop the colorful blocks together to make your animations come to life. It’s like putting together a fun puzzle!

I started with some simple things, like making a character move across the screen. Then, I slowly learned how to add sound effects and backgrounds. With each project, I discovered new blocks and what they could do. It felt like I was unlocking secret coding powers!

Now, I’m nowhere near a Scratch master, but I’m having a blast creating my own little animated stories. It’s like having my own cartoon world where anything is possible!

Here are some tips for you if you’re just starting out with Scratch:

  • Find a course or tutorial that you like: There are tons of great resources out there, and ChhotaCreator.com is a fantastic place to look for kid-friendly courses made by other kids!
  • Don’t be afraid to experiment: The best way to learn Scratch is by just trying things out. Don’t worry about making mistakes, that’s how we all learn!
  • Start small and build up: Don’t try to make the most complex animation right away. Begin with something simple and then add more complexity as you get more comfortable.
  • Most importantly, have fun! Scratch is all about letting your creativity run wild. So put on your thinking cap, grab your imagination, and get ready to create some awesome animations!

If you’re reading this and just getting started with Scratch, welcome to the club! It’s an amazing journey of discovery and creativity. Let’s keep learning, keep creating, and keep making the coolest animations ever!
